Overview
This tour offers you a glimpse of the culture and splendid architectural wonders of southern state of Karnataka. The Tour will commence from the city of Bengaluru, also known as “The Silicon Valley of India”, famous for its museum, palaces and gardens.
Thereafter, you will visit Mysore- former capital of Karnataka which has always enchanted its admirers with its quaint, charm, glittering rich heritage and magnificent palaces. The city is also a thriving centre for production of premium silk and sandalwood incense.
For the next couple of days, explore the coffee culture in calm and beautiful town of Chikmagalur, nestled within the Baba Budan hills filled with exotic birds, animals and coffee plantations. The trip also covers places like Hospet and Badami which offer some remarkable sculptures, temples and other ruins from ancient and medieval empires.
At the offset of the tour, unwind on the white sunbathed beaches of Goa. You can also visit centuries-old cathedrals and majestic Fort Aguada and its lighthouse.

Tour Details

Day 1 - Arrive Bangalore
Arrive at the Bangalore airport and check in to the hotel. The day is at leisure. Overnight will be at Bangalore.

Day 2 - In Bangalore
Post breakfast, start Bangalore Sightseeing tour. Visit Vidhana Soudha (State Legislature), the 240-acre Lalbagh Botanical Gardens with many centuries-old trees and different species of plants and the Bangalore Fort. Afterwards, take a tour to Nandi Temple and spend a spiritual evening in Iskcon Temple witnessing Aarti. Return to hotel and retire for the day. Overnight will be at Bangalore.

Day 3 - Bangalore to Mysore By road 150kms / 4hrs
Enjoy leisurely breakfast before starting for Mysore. On the way to Mysore, visit Srirangapatna, Somnathpur and the temple of Kesava. Upon arrival in Mysore, check in to the hotel. Relax in the evening and retire early for the night. Overnight will be at Mysore.

Day 4 - In Mysore
After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, start with your full day guided tour of Mysore, which will first take you to Chamundeshwarari Temple and magnificent Mysore Palace. After that, visit Brindavan Gardens and enjoy light fountain show. Overnight will be at Mysore.

Day 5 - Mysore to Chikmagalur By road 215kms / 5hrs
After breakfast, proceed towards Chikmagalur en route visit impressive hilltop monolithic statue at Sravanbelagola. Reach Chikmagalur and transfer to the hotel to relax for the day. Overnight will be at Chikmagalur.

Day 6 - In Chikmagalur
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Start your day by visiting the coffee museum. Later, visit the Hoysala Temple, Belur, and nearby Halebid. These temples are best known for their typical South Indian architecture and their magnificent carvings which depict scenes from the Ramayana and Mahabharata, the two Hindu epics. Return to hotel for the night. Overnight will be at Chikmagalur.

Day 7 - Chikmagalur to Hospet By road 315kms / 7hrs
After an early morning breakfast, drive to Hospet. Reach Hospet and check in to the hotel. Overnight will be at Hospet.

Day 8 - Hospet to Hampi to Hospet
After breakfast, excursion trip to the ruins of Vijayanagar Empire – Hampi, also a World Heritage Site, and once the capital of the impressive Vijayanagar Empire. Later, enjoy a coracle boat ride on the Tungabhadra river. Before you head back to Hospet, visit Vithal temple, the temple Virupakshi Chamber of victory. Overnight will be at Hospet.

Day 9 - Hospet to Badami By road 130kms / 3hrs
After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, drive to Badami en route visiting Aihole and Pattadakal. Pattadrakal is a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring Hinduism and Jainism Temples. Aihole is a village known for Chalukyan architecture. Afterwards, check in to the hotel and relax. Overnight will be at Badami.

Day 10 - Badami to Goa By road 249kms / 5hrs
After breakfast, visit the sandstone cave temples of Badami, Jain Rock Cut Temple, the Mallikarjuna Temple, North Fort and Banashankari Temple. Later, drive to Goa and check in to the hotel. Spend your evening relaxing on the beach. Overnight will be in Goa.

Day 11 - In Goa
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Old Goa which includes the Chapel of St Francis Xavier, the Church of St Francis of Assisi and the Basilica of Bom Jesus. Rest of the day you can explore flea markets or enjoy a peaceful walk on the beach. Overnight will be in Goa.
