Delhi – Varanasi - Khajuraho – Agra – Jaipur - Udaipur – Delhi

This trip will take you to some of the most popular and diverse tourist destinations of northern India.

Trip will start from the capital city of Delhi which is famous for its World Heritage Sites, forts, museums and colorful bazaars. You can also experience the various Indian cuisines in this cosmopolitan city.

Next, visit and experience the mystic city of Varanasi, also known as Benares or Kashi. Varanasi is one of the oldest cities and is sacred for Hindus who believe dying in Varanasi brings nirvana/salvation. Other than pilgrimage, the city is very popular among tourists for its mesmerizing Ganga Aarti. You can also enjoy the sunrise or sunset boat-riding on the Ganga river.

The tour also includes the small and beautiful town of Khajuraho, world famous for its temples having erotic sculptures. Afterwards, head towards Agra to experience sunrise and a visit to the symbol of love –The Taj Mahal.

The last leg of the trip takes you to the cities of Jaipur and Udaipur where you will visit the majestic forts and beautiful palaces. Here, you will also get to experience the rich local culture and Rajasthani cuisine.

  • Day 1 - Arrive Delhi

    Upon arrival at the Delhi International Airport, you will be received by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Delhi is India’s capital and a major gateway to the country. You will have free time on your own to adjust to the new time zone. Overnight will be at Delhi.

    Day 2 - In Delhi

    After breakfast, start your day with a full day Delhi Sightseeing. The tour begins in Old Delhi with Jama Masjid and then a unique glance at local life by an exploration to the bustling local bazaar of Chandni Chowk on a rickshaw. Drive pass by Red Fort before driving to New Delhi for Qutub Minar and Humayun Tomb. Continue with Raj-Ghat, drive along the city landmarks of India Gate, President's House, Parliament House & Government Secretariat Buildings and stop for photo opportunity there. If time permits, visit the National Museum and Lotus temple. An ideal place for meditation, this Bahai House of worship is open to people of all religions. Overnight will be at Delhi.

    Day 3 - Delhi to Varanasi By flight

    As per your flight timings, you will be transferred to the airport to board the flight to Varanasi, which is a spiritual place for Hindus and is the most ancient city of India. Reach Varanasi and check in to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy “Ganga Aarti Ceremony” at the Ganges, during which worshippers pray near the water by the light of candles and lanterns. Overnight will be at Varanasi.

    Day 4 - In Varanasi

    Early in the morning, drive to Daswamedh Ghat for a sunrise boat cruise on the Ganges River and catch a glimpse of devotees at the prayer. Return to hotel for breakfast followed by guided city tour of Varanasi. The city tour takes you to Banaras Hindu University,Golden Temple and Bharat Mata Temple which is dedicated to Mother India. In afternoon, continue your adventure to Sarnath (The Deer Park) where the Buddha preached his first sermon and Sarnath Museum (closed on Fridays). Overnight will be at Varanasi.

    Day 5 - Varanasi to Khajuraho By flight

    After breakfast, as per your flight timings, you will be transferred to the airport to board the flight to Khajuraho, which is also known as Temple city of Central India and is renowned for erotic sculptures. In the afternoon, proceed for a tour of famous Western & Eastern temples of Khajuraho, followed by sound and light show in the evening. Overnight will be at Khajuraho.

    Day 6 - Khajuraho to Agra via Jhansi By road 170kms / 4hrs

    After breakfast, drive to Jhansi en route exploring sightseeing places in Orchha and later as per your train timings, you will be transferred to the Railway Station to board a train to Agra. Reach Agra and retire for a night at the hotel. Overnight in Agra.

    Day 7 - In Agra

    Enjoy leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Later proceed to visit Agra Fort – Red stone intricate complex built by emperor Akbar & Itmad-ud-daulah – it is another jewel of the country, popularly known as Mini Taj. If time permits enjoy high tea with Gleaming Taj Backdrop, which will be an unforgettable experience. Overnight in Agra.

    Day 8 - Agra to Jaipur By road 232kms / 6hrs

    Enjoy an early morning visit to breathtaking Taj-Mahal. Return for breakfast at the hotel. After that, proceed to Jaipur en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri and Abhaneri Village. Reach the largest city in the desert state of Rajasthan and rest of the day is at your own pace. Overnight will be at Jaipur.

    Day 9 - In Jaipur

    After a leisurely breakfast, start your guided tour of Jaipur which includes a visit to Amber Fort (with a jeep ride or Elephant ride up to the fort entrance) and Hawa Mahal (Palace of the winds). Continue to visit the City Palace Museum and Jantar Mantar. Drive pass through the pink rose residential and business areas before you head back to the hotel.

    Day 10 - Jaipur to Udaipur By road 327kms / 6hrs

    After breakfast, leave to Udaipur en route visiting Chittaurgarh Fort. Reach Udaipur and check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight will be at Udaipur.

    Day 11 - In Udaipur

    After breakfast, take a stroll through the markets and bazaars to visit the Jagdish Temple and admire the royal heritage City Palace. In the evening, enjoy serene boat ride at Lake Pichola before heading for the Garden of the Maids of Honour and Folk Art Museum. Overnight will be at Udaipur.

    Day 12 - Udaipur to Delhi By flight

    After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Airport to board the flight to Delhi. Depending upon your international flight timings either you will be transferred to your hotel for freshening up or you will be driven directly to the Delhi International airport to take a flight back home with sweet memories of the tour.
